Chromecast experience
2013-08-15 11:09 pmIn a moment of stupidity bought Chromecast downgrading my TV user experience as a result. For years I had my TV connected to desktop PC as another big monitor via HDMI. Any streaming source, any apps, etc. In contrast Chromecast dongle brings following "features":
1. Much limited processor power in comparison to desktop PC.
2. It does not let me easily switch TV from chromecast HDMI input using native remote control, literally switching TV back to chromecast input.
3. If I pause chromecast streaming and manage to switch to other input (PC), it unpauses itself and continues to play in the background.
Is there any cool way to use Chromecast?
Enlighten me before I sell that junk on eBay.
