via bluetooth; blackberry is supposed to work as a modem, not sure if it has that functionality.

Зависит от модели смартфона: мой (8525, не "blackberry") работает на ДСЛ скорости как модем с ЮСБ кабелем "из бокса". Вроде может и через Bluetooth, но я не пробовал, т.к. нет особой нужды.

Есть модели Blackberry, которые имеют модем. У меня такой. Blackberry подключаю через USB, драйвер модема устанавливается, но модем не проходит тест.

Да ладно, уже не актуально. Сегодня мы вернулись из отпуска. :)
